All Saints' New Rector
Below is a greeting from Dan....
Dear All Saints Family,
Greetings from Yankeeland! (that is, from the Northeast ... I'm a METS fan!). We are so blessed to be called to lead and shepherd All Saints Church and are humbled to be entering into the plans that God has for you and for the future of the Anglican Church in North America. We have so much joy and excitement for this new adventure that is right around the corner for all of us and we can't wait to begin.
I am so grateful for your prayers and encouragement and am aware that each of us is in a great transition. I have been part of the St. Paul's family for the past 11 years and there is much to be sad about as we leave our spiritual family and friends behind. As with you, John has been your Shepherd and friend for over 25 years and there will no doubt be great sadness and anxiety about launching him into the fullness of his calling as Bishop. That being said, there is so much hope for the future, joy for the journey and challenges to our faith that we will face together. It's going to be exciting!
Let us with joy and confidence look to the future recognizing that Jesus alone is the author and perfecter of our faith and with Him there isn't anything we together cannot accomplish or overcome. All honor and glory to our Risen Lord.
Blessings
Dan
