Welcome to Children's Ministry

All Saints’ Church welcomes your children! We want them to feel that they belong to our family! We believe that children are as important to God as their parents are, and that we have the responsibility to provide them with meaningful worship, education, and social opportunities that will build their faith and increase their love for God as He is revealed in Jesus. We also seek to give them a nurturing and positive experience of the Church.
Ministry Purpose and Vision
Children’s Ministries at All Saints’ serves infants, toddlers, and children through the eighth grade. While we recognize and affirm that the spiritual development of children is first and foremost a parent’s responsibility, our church is poised and ready to assist! We seek to partner with you and support your family in training up children to love and serve the Lord each day of their lives. Children are welcomed, valued, protected, and lovingly cared for while they learn who Jesus is, how to follow Him and how the truths of the Bible can help them to make Godly choices. Our dedicated Children’s Ministries team is committed to helping children:
- Understand that God earnestly desires a personal, meaningful and growing relationship through Jesus with them,
- Read, know, and love God’s word,
- Learn how to engage in daily prayer and worship,
- Experience God’s presence through the Holy Spirit as an integral part of their lives,
- Voluntarily participate in acts of service,
- Become committed to using their spiritual gifts, and
- Grow in Christ-like character.
In 2009 and 2010, our Sunday School and Children’s Church offerings will continue to follow our church-wide Bible reading plan which is called “The T.R.U.T.H. Adventure.” Lesson plans parallel the message shared with adults in the readings and sermon so that families can discuss together the truths they have learned about on Sunday mornings.
Our Children’s Ministries’ theme which encourages children to be the hands and feet of Jesus is:
“When God is in our hearts, God is in our lives.”
“And I pray that God will be more and more at home in your hearts,
living within you as you trust in him.
May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love,
and may you be able to feel and understand as all God’s children should
how long, how deep, and how high his love really is;
and to experience this love for yourselves,
though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or
fully know or understand it. And so at last you will be filled up with God himself.”
Ephesians 3:17-19 (The Living Bible)
