"Zeal for Your house will consume me." John 2:17
The Consumed Youth Ministry at All Saints Church challenges young people in the seventh through twelfth grades to deepen their relationship with Jesus. The goal is to live out our theme verse, which is “Zeal for Your house will consume me” (John 2:17). The group meets Sunday evenings during the school year from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The evening is filled with fun activities, games, youth fellowship and, of course, teaching about our faith and God’s Word. Oftentimes we conduct small groups with times of discussion and object lessons that go with the teaching. The evening concludes with a time for worship lead by the Youth Worship Team.
Our focus during these meetings is to talk, teach, challenge, and encourage our young people to live out their lives for Jesus. It is a place for them to develop relationships in a fellowship that will help them to take a stand. We hope that each teenager will become determined to impact their friends, classmates, and community with the Christian message of love. Our hope is that each young person will catch the vision and live out the call to BE CONSUMED!!
In the summer we suspend the Sunday night Consumed meetings and add weekly outings, such as canoeing, bowling, boating, Kings Dominion, beach trips and much more…
